No TGIF link love this week, you guys.

I just wanted to take a moment to wish all of my readers and their families a very Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukah! (I always love when they fall at the same time!) This year has been full of so many big, sometimes scary, wonderful things: I re-branded my blog, moved out of my first apartment, and fell in love. I’ve made some incredible friends, survived being in 3 weddings in a row, went back stage at Warped Tour for the first time ever, and have never felt more confident and self-assured. While I’m not sure quite where I’m headed career-wise yet, I even feel the most settled and happy at my current job at the firm. I just feel like everything has fallen into place in my little world and the things that haven’t, well, I have the energy and the people behind me that I need so I’m not scared. I got this. We got this.

Wherever you’re going this weekend, get there safely. I can’t wait to spend Christmas with my parents + Kendall and show him what it’s like to have a Downing Christmas. My wish for all of you is that you can be filled with my same warm fuzzy feelings this weekend, into the new year, and foreverz.

One last thing- if you want to celebrate the new year with me, I’ll be at Mason Inn {now under new ownership} enjoying their open bar + some of my favorite people in the universe!
