‘Twas the day after Christmas, and at Pride Rock, I just finished breakfast and coffee and I’m sitting in Kendall’s Yellowcard shirt, candles lit, among all the Christmas presents that need to be put away while the man of the house is at work. I have Peppermint Party in the kitchen, Snowy Birch in the bedroom, some version of Christmas tree from bath and body works in the living room. We always have a candle or two or three lit, and right now Pier 1 is having a clearance sale on Christmas so I’m about to end up with a bunch more- whoops.
Candles make the home, in my opinion. There is nothing better than walking into a place and being greeted with a nice scent- but candles can be pretty pricey, which is why I always wait for a good sale, stock up at TJ Maxx, orrrrrr I scour the Internets for non-name brand candles in the same scents as designers fragrances that I love.
