YOU GUYS! I officially get to start moving into my apartment this week! Friday’s kind of a big day… it’s my mom’s birthday, my parents’ anniversary, my lease start date, and I’m scheduled to get my vaccine! All good things, amiright?

The last BIG thing I needed to get for my apartment was a dresser. I wasn’t sure a long one would fit, but we measured and it’ll work. I’ve changed my mind a couple of times, but I knew I wanted something sleek, clean, and mid-century adjacent.

I really want my bedroom to be like a staging area. A place where I start and end my day that reflects me and sets me up for success. My room at my parents’ house is huge, and has a whole dressing area. While space-wise it won’t be the same, I can definitely create an area that’ll serve that purpose.

While I’m not entirely sure which art I’m putting where yet, I think I want the wall above my dresser to house the beach/retro motel pictures I found on Etsy. I think the rattan mirror will do a good job of keeping it beachy looking without being nautical, you know?
