When it starts to get cold, all you want to do is stay snuggled in your comfiest clothes until spring comes. But you’re not supposed to go into hibernation, and you still have to look good while you’re in public. If you want to look stylish but still feel comfortable this fall, there are a few things that you can do. By putting together the perfect outfit, you can stay warm, be comfy and still look respectable so that you can show your face in public. It’s not as difficult to do as you might think.

Graphic Tees

This is a phase I just never grew out of. I love graphic tees. My mom actually banned my graphic tee purchasing in high school. The fall is actually a great time for them because some of the best fall activities tend to be ones that aren’t fancy. Hayrides, bonfires, and pumpkin patches don’t really warrant a fashion show (unless you go with a heard of bloggers), but it’s always nice to be cute, even if you might get a little dirty.

Pick Comfy Pants

When fall arrives, you might start thinking about getting your jeans out. While jeans can be comfortable, especially if they’re old and worn, they’re not always the best option. You might not want to wear sweats or yoga pants when you’re out and about, but you can still choose comfortable pants that look good too. It’s all about getting the right fit, the right color, and pattern, and pairing your pants with the right tops too. If you’re not sure, stick to black in whatever material and fit. It’s hard to get it wrong when you’re wearing black pants.

Wear Comfy Sweater Dresses

If you don’t want to keep wearing your summer dresses through the fall, it’s a fantastic time to switch to sweater dresses. Click here to see some options for cowl necks and long sleeves that will have you feeling cozy just from looking at them. A sweater dress is great when worn with long boots, leggings or tights or even over your jeans. They’re super comfortable, and they’re sure to keep you warm, unlike some summer dresses that can be a bit too thin for colder weather. You won’t want to take them off at the end of the day.

Select Some Stylish Sneakers

Getting your footwear right for fall can be hard. Depending on where you live, you might be expecting a lot of rain. Even if it stays dry, you want your feet to stay warm as it moves into winter. Sneakers can be the comfiest of shoes, but you might feel like they’re not always the best looking option. Fortunately, there are plenty of stylish sneaker options out there.

Long Draped Cardigan

Get Lengthy

Going for long-line items when you choose your fall outfits is a great way to stay comfy but also look super stylish. You can snuggle into them, but they give you a long and slim silhouette at the same time. I prefer larger, more oversized cardis. Try long cardigans and jackets, tunic tops, long coats and even long scarves. It will keep you warm, and you’ll look like you’re being effortlessly stylish when really you’re just trying to get comfortable.

You can nail your fall style and stay comfy this fall. It’s easier than you think to look and feel good.
