Saturday night, I had the best Zoom with some of my best blogger babes. I really miss them so much! Every time we’re together it’s like a breath of fresh air. We laugh, we’re loud, we ORDER that guac for the table and bottomless whatever.
Pre-quarantine, I had great plans for a mini brewery tour. There are three breweries within 15 minutes of my home in Laytonsville, and a fourth (and closest) is being build right uo a hill from my neighborhood. We did a big field trip a few years ago with a couple stops out in the country for pumpkin picking and a winery, and I though a similar excursion would be a great way to kick off the summer.
Even though plans are pretty much on hold for now, I can’t stop thinking about being together with my girls, whether it be for a big planned day-cation, an impromptu happy hour, or a Saturday sip-fest in the sun somewhere.
That’s the other thing I’m craving-sun. I wish it was consistently warm and sunny because Saturday was also wonderful in that respect. I even got a little bit of a burn! I thrive in the sunshine and with bright colors. Catch my eat my first function in some kind of Barbie pink SOMETHING (including my favorite “brighter” shade of gel polish).
