Happy Friday, love bugs! I’m SO EXCITED- Kendall and I are going to see We The Kings (my favorite band) in Baltimore on Sunday. He couldn’t be with me at Warped Tour because he was on mission so I’m having a pretty OH EM GEEEEE!! moment. He’ll also be meeting some close friends family that I’ve made at other WTK shows.

Dani relaunched Blonde in the District with a clean new layout AND a section for Bubbles & Bloggers that will streamline our event registration!
My dear friend Tiffany also just launched her own blog. Off White is a blog where Tiff is unpacking + dissecting the issues of the day, mostly how they relate to race. She is mixed herself, so it’s an interesting perspective and I think one that is often overlooked in a society that loves to place people in snap-judgment categories. While we don’t always have the exact same views on political or social issues (How can we? How can anyone? Every person’s experience is different), I can certainly respect this new platform for her and I’m excited to see it grow!
Speaking of race relations- did you know that U St. used to go by Black Broadway? Pretty interesting read about part of DC’s history.
Sure, I love a lot of the clothes that other bloggers post, but I can’t stop thinking about the t featured on Southern Anchors earlier this week!
Marisa from DC Style Factory weighed in on pantyhose. I personally HATE having my legs in leg jail, but sometimes it’s needed when it’s cold. I have nice legs, so why not show them off without freezing? Like I did here.
Stella & Dot is having a HUGE sale this weekend- up to 60% off!
Have a great weekend! Let me know what your plans are!
Yay have fun at the concert!!
