I had never really considered picking a word of the year before. I totally stole this idea from Gentry- picking a word to set your intention for the year. You can read all about her word of the year and why she picked it here. When she challenged her readers on her Instagram to pick their own words for 2019, move immediately popped into my head.

I want to move my body in ways that make me feel healthy and happy. I really miss yoga, and I may look into a studio or plan that a little less expensive and demanding than the Corepower Black Tag. I loved having my unlimited membership but I could really only afford it when I was working there as a Set Member, which became really difficult when I moved jobs and was having to stay late often. If anyone has a rec of a studio they love in DC, I’d love to try a class with you. Even better- if anyone knows of a fun dance class, I’d be down for that too!

My quantifiable Zazzle goal is to move to the next level of seller. Right now I’m a Basic Pro seller because I’ve made over $100 through Zazzle. To move up to the Bronze Seller level, I need to reach $1000 in sales. Honestly, that’s about what I brought in with Etsy in a year, so I see this as attainable, especially since Zazzle is my only shop at this point. (a big #thankunext to Etsy!) I think one way of reaching that goal is to create more content that organically includes my products.

I want to move forward with my blog. I’m hoping to grow my email subscribers, post more consistently, and elevate my Instagram. As far as my day job, I’m going to keep moving and growing as much as I can in an environment where my direct boss is so supportive before eventually moving on to something I truly love that’s fulfilling creatively. (I’m not even sure what exactly that is yet!)

What’s your word for 2019? Have you ever picked a word before?
