I hope y’all are staying warm! I’m heading home to Laytonsville this weekend. I feel like I say that a lot but since I’ve flown the coop, I truly treasure my time with my parents, either with Kendall or without. Although, it’s funny- my mom said it would have been weird if it was just me there for Christmas this year. I love that he and my family are as close as they are! Anyway, Friday night and Saturday morning I’m going to try and clean our apartment before going QT with Mama and Daddy D. One of my goals for 2018 is to minimize and organize.

Since we got hit with a cold snap, I decided to try my hand at homemade chicken noodle soup! Total win! This recipe serves as a great base and you can add a little of this and that to make it your own. My biggest personal tip? Cook the noodles first! My boss told me that and she was so right!
