It’s funny how targeted advertising works. Often it leads to me wanting something I never knew I needed.
Maybe it’s because we’re outgrowing our apartment, or maybe it was that Kendall got me a map of the stars over Georgetown from the exact time of our first kiss (I SOBBED) for Christmas, or maybe it was a gentle suggestion from Romwe (the blanket is now sold out)- but I’m thinking about a bedroom redo… with an astrology twist.
I’ve always been into celestial everything. My favorite quote is from a song called “Shine On“:
if the moon had to run away
and all the stars didn’t want to play
don’t waste the sun on a rainy day
Funny enough, Kendall has a sun and moon tattoo set too on his forearms. Totally freaked my MOH out when she first saw them and found out he had them way before I was ever in the picture.
Stars bring us together, stars tell a story, and stars lead our way- in an astrology sense (if you believe) and as navigation. It makes sense that I find everything about them comforting… kind of the perfect motif for a place where you’re supposed to be the most comfortable.
